My little man, Jackie Chan. This afternoon, he quietly slipped away and crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We called him the Earl of Grey, because he would beg for my cup of tea. My buddy for the past 15 years, I will miss him.

wow, i wrote that nearly three years ago and never shared my post. it was a sad time for me but i knew it was inevitable. dogs can't live forever except in your heart.

this brings me to a new quandry. if you had a choice ... would you keep the dog who was smart, amazing, loved you to pieces and easily adoptable, or would you keep the one who was loving but shy, and had the potential to be the most adorable dog in the world if you could spend the time to work with him?

Our other two complained that they did not get their 15 minutes of fame on the blog. One of them forgets that he is the Spokes-Dog of one of our websites (badlittledogs.com) still under construction, hence the complaint.

Boo Man Chiu

It is a hard thing to do, give up a pet you've raised from a pup. But with a new baby and her husband's allergies to Boo, one of my best friends asked if I would take him. I said I would take her dog, but not her husband.

Boo is the newest member of our family. He's mostly an orange puffball (my husband says he's gold) of a pomeranian. Big boy, too, at 22lbs. He's been with us close to four weeks now. He's weaned off the chicken and rice, and on a steady diet of Science Diet oral care. He's also slimmed down a bit and has a bit more definition in the hips. Must be all that pushing up and down the stairs. He hardly looks like the same dog anymore. Gone is the mortadella sausage. Eat your heart out, Richard Simmons!
